Can't access web admin panel
web admin panel access¶
If you cannot access http://192.168.0.1 to log in to the Web Admin Panel, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Note : If the router is set to Access Point, Extender, or WDS mode, you may not be able to access the Web Admin Panel using the default IP (>> 192.168.0.1>> ). In this case, use the IP address assigned to the VL7M19K router by the main router to access the panel.
Step 1: Check the Connection and Router IP Address¶
-
Ensure the WAN/LAN port connections are correct: The WAN port should be connected to an Internet source, and LAN ports should be connected to client devices.
-
If connecting via Wi-Fi, verify that you are connected to the correct SSID.
Step 2: Check the Router's IP Address (Windows 7/10/11)¶
The next steps depend on your device's IP address status:
Case 1: Incorrect IP Address¶
-
Recheck the physical connections (Ethernet cables or Wi-Fi connection).
-
Reset the router to factory default settings (refer to Section 10.2).
Case 2: Correct IP Address¶
-
Ensure you are using Chrome or Firefox, then try accessing http://192.168.0.1 again.
